De l' montoj ora lumo nun		Mountain glow sudden west set
foriĝas en vespera pac'.		Pond moon gradually east up
Ekestas trema bild' de l' lun'		Loose hair enjoy evening cool
sur de l' lageto la surfac'.		Open window lie idle spacious
Kun loza kap-hararo mi		Lotus wind carry scent air
sur la teraso kuŝas nun,		Banboo dew drip clear sound
kvietas mia vivo, ĝi		Wish fetch sound qin pluck
sin donas al la lum' de l' lun'.		Regret not perceive sound appreciate
Flariĝas melilot-odor',		Feel this think of old friend
ĝi lante supreniĝas al		Whole night labour dream think
la dom' dum la vespera hor',
susuras jen ros-guto-fal'.
