Tyger Tyger, burning bright,   Argiope information:   Tigro, tigro, brile brula
In the forests of the night;   The view of this version is restricted.   En arbaro nokt-obskura,
What immortal hand or eye,   Presumably there are copyright issues.   Forĝis kia man' eterna
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?       Vin je simetri' konsterna?

  En kia fundo aŭ ĉielo
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?       Ardis via okulhelo?
On what wings dare he aspire?       Kia lin flugil' subtenis?
What the hand, dare sieze the fire?       Kia man' la fajron prenis?

And what shoulder and what art,       Per kiaj ŝultro kaj kompreno.
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?       Por vi tordiĝis kortendeno?
And when thy heart began to beat,       Kaj kiam pulsis batoj koraj,
What dread hand? and what dread feet?       Kiaj pied' kaj mano gloraj?

What the hammer? What the chain,       Kia martelo? Ĉeno kia?
In what furnace was thy brain?       Kia forn' por cerbo via?
What the anvil? What dread grasp,       Riskis kia fort' kolosa
Dare its deadly terrors clasp!       Spiti al terur' ambosa?

When the stars threw down their spears       Kiam steloj sin malarmis
And water'd heaven with their tears:       Kaj sur la ĉielon larmis,
Did he smile his work to see?       Ĉu la verko al li karis?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?       Ĉu vin Ŝafid-farinto faris?

Tyger Tyger, burning bright,       Tigro, tigro, brile brula
In the forests of the night;       En arbaro nokt-obskura,
What immortal hand or eye,       Forĝus kia man' eterna
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?       Vin je simetri' konsterna?
