Migrante super mont’ kaj val’		I wander’d lonely as a cloud
samkiel nubo ĉe l’ ĉiel’,		That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
subite mi ekvenis al		When all at once I saw a crowd,
narcisa kamp’ kun ora bel’,		A host of golden daffodils,
jen apud lago, ĉe arbar’		Beside the lake, beneath the trees
en briz’ ondanta kiel mar’.		Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Seninterrompe kiel la		Continuous as the stars that shine
stelaroj de la galakci’		And twinkle on the milky way,
etendis plurdekmiloj da		They stretch’d in never-ending line
ĉi tiuj floroj en lini’		Along the margin of a bay:
laŭlonge de l’ lagbordo sin,		Ten thousand saw I at a glance
en longaj vicoj kaj sen fin’.		Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

La ondoj dancis, la brilet’		The waves beside them danced, but they
de l’ floroj min impresis pli;		Out-did the sparkling waves in glee: -
ja devas ĝoji la poet’		A poet could not but be gay
en tia ĉarma kompani’.		In such a jocund company:
Rigardis kaj rigardis mi		I gazed - and gazed - but little thought
kaj min riĉigis tio ĉi.		What wealth the show to me had brought.

Ĉar ofte, kiam kuŝas mi		For oft, when on my couch I lie
trankvile sur la sofo re-		In vacant or in pensive mood,
aperas tiu bildo ĉi,		They flash upon that inward eye
kaj tiam reokazas, ke		Which is the bliss of solitude;
ekĝojas mia kor’ en mi,		And then my heart with pleasure fills
kun la narcisoj dancas ĝi.		And dances with the daffodils.
