She was a fishmonger,		Estis ŝi vendistino,
And sure twas no wonder,		sed ne miris Dublino,
For so were her mother and father before,		Ĉar ankaŭ tiel faris gepatroj de ŝi.
And they each wheeled their wheelbarrow,		Ili vagis stratarojn,
