rakontis jam pri ĝi.	von Jesse kam die Art	Of Jesse promised fruit;
Naskiĝis rozfloret'	und hat ein Blümlein bracht	Its fairest bud unfolds to light
meze en vintra nokto	mitten im kalten Winter,	Amid the cold, cold winter,
laŭ diro de profet'.	wohl zu der halben Nacht.	And in the dark midnight.

2. Ja naskis tiu rozo -	2. Das Röslein, das ich meine,	2. The Rose which I am singing,
