Ĉielo heliĝas.		Der Himmel ist helle,
La timan ligilon		Und Äolus löset
Malnodas Eol'.		Das ängstliche Band.
Susuras la ventoj,		Es säuseln die Winde,
Ekagas ŝipistoj.		Es rührt sich der Schiffer.
Rapidu! Rapidu!		Geschwinde! Geschwinde!
La ondoj partiĝas,		Es teilt sich die Welle,
La for' proksimiĝas.		Es naht sich die Ferne;

Translation of the German poem "Glückliche Fahrt" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-08-28 - †1832-03-22) into Esperanto by Wilhelm Barnickel (1921-09-02) on 1983. Tiun ĉi poem-tradukon sendis al mi, Manfred Retzlaff, en 1984 mia fervojista kolego Willi Barnickel (Tiroler Str. 12b, D-60596 Frankfurt am Main, Germanujo). La lastan linion de la poemtraduko mi, Manfred Retzlaff, provis en 2004-09-09 pliĝustigi; ĉar s-ro Barnickel erare neglektis, ke post la vorto "vidas" oni devus uzi la akuzativan formon "landon". Kaj la akuzativa finaĵo "-on" ne estas eliziebla (ellasebla).		Author of this German poem is Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (*1749-08-28 - †1832-03-22).
