Of other days around me;		rememoro venas:
The smiles, the tears, of boyhood's years,		pri ridoj, larmoj ama vort',
The words of love then spoken;		al juna knab' dirita,
The eyes that shone, now dimm'd and gone,		pri belokul', senluma nun,
The cheerful hearts now broken!		Tiel en paca nokt'
Thus, in the stilly night,		pri koro, jam rompita.,
Ere Slumber's chain hath bound me,		se dormo ne min prenas,
Sad Memory brings the light		pri la pasintaj tagoj
Of other days around me.		rememoro venas.
