who meekly knelt before the dead:	atentis vortojn de l’ mortinto.	Et lui dit, “ sur moi dis tout, c’est ton rôle ! ”	Yawned twice, wheezed once, and then was ready.

“The banSHEE, in the subject’s place;	De “lupfantomo”, simpla rekta,	“ - On peut à ton sujet puisque nous y sommes	“Well, ‘Werewolf’ is your plural past,
the banHERS, the possessive case.	tra “lupfintomo”, plej perfekta,	Se demander encor bien des choses en somme.	While ‘Waswolf’ is singularly cast:
The banHER, next, is what they call	plu “lupfontomo”, iom rara,	Loup-garoù ? mais avant	There’s ‘Amwolf’ too, the present tense,
objective case--and that is all.”	ĝis “lupfuntomo”, ho, koŝmara.	Il faut se dire : loup-garquand ?	And ‘Iswolf,’ ‘Arewolf’ in this same sense.”

The banshee marveled at the cases	Ĉi participoj plaĉis multe	Loup-garcomment ? et puis	“I know that--I’m no mental cripple--

wailed: “What about my family?”	ja spertas pli ol eĉ vampiro.	Rester un loup-garou est un sort qui m’alarme. ”	At home, and homewards now he crept,
Then, being not a learned creature,	La lup’ revenis larmokula	Mais comme le loup était bien poli	Happy, humble, without apology
