The most beautiful Maiden entrances		Plej belan knabinon mi vidas:
Above wonderfully there,		en ora ornamo brilante,

With golden comb so lustrous,		La oran kombilon ŝi movas
And thereby a song sings,		kaj kantas tra l' pura aero,

The shipper in the little ship		Ŝipet' iras sur la rivero,

I believe the turbulent waves		Ha, baldaŭ ŝipisto la bela
Swallow the last shipper and boat;		perdiĝis sub l' akvoturnado;
She with her singing craves		ĝin Lorelej' faris kruela,
