Quand la nature est reverdie,	Ho, kiam ĉio reverdiĝas,	When Nature 'round us greener be,
Quand l'hirondelle est de retour,	la hirundar' al Normandi'	When swallows homeward wing their way,
J'aime à revoir ma Normandie!	revenas, - dum ni malĝojiĝas,	I love to see my Normandy,

J'ai vu les champs de l'Helvétie,	Mi konas Svislandeton belan	Switzerland's dales I did behold,
Et ses chalets et ses glaciers;	kun ĝia neĝomontĉenar',	And her chalets and glaciers blue;
J'ai vu le ciel de l'Italie,	en Italuj' ĉielon bluan,	I've seen Italian skies of gold,
Et Venise et ses gondoliers.	Venizon kun la gondolar'.	And the gondoliers of Venice too.
En saluant chaque patrie,	Sed vidis landon mi nenie	Although these lands enchanted me,
Je me disais : aucun séjour	similan al la Normandi';	I knew there was no hideaway
N'est plus beau que ma Normandie!	feliĉa mi nur estis tie	More lovely than my Normandy,
C'est le pays qui m'a donné le jour.	ĉe vi, naakiĝolando, nur ĉe vi!	The land that gave to me the light of day.

Il est un âge dans la vie,	En ĉiun vivon venas horo,	There comes a time, as life unfolds,
Où chaque rêve doit finir,	en kiu ĉesas la revad';	That brings an end to reveries.
Un âge où l'âme recueillie	bezonas tiam ĉiu koro	A time when must the ransomed soul
A besoin de se souvenir.	konsolon per la memorad'.	Revisit cherished memories.
Lorsque ma muse refroidie	Se ĉesos mia kantinspiro,	When time has chilled my muse and me,
Aura fini ses chants d'amour,	mi venos tuj, ho Normandi',	And songs of love are sung away,
J'irai revoir ma Normandie!	al vi, pro mia korsopiro.	I'll see again my Normandy,
